Conversion Tools
Are there any tools to convert Crystal Reports to SSRS out there besides KTL's Crystal Converter?
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/technologies/reporting/partners/crystal-migration.mspx|||
I went through that list and most of those are services. I am looking for tools like Crystal Converter.|||
To my understanding, Crystal (Business Objects) disapprove commercial converters. For this reason, most vendors offer this as a service.

Conversion from Sybase to SQL Server 2000
Could anyone refer me any kind of tools or process to convert from SYBASE to SQL SERVER 2000.
My complany is trying to migrate from SYBASE to SQL SERVER 2000.
Any help is greately appreciated!
Thanks.While it isn't exactly a "tool" per se, the section on migrating from Sybase to SQL-2000 in the SQL Server Resource Kit is excellent. Microsoft provides a number of executables on the CD that help with the migration process too.
-PatP|||If you would like to convert the schema, I would recommend ErWin. We did the same conversion about two years ago, and this tool was a big help. It's also nice to have for ongoing schema changes. Though, it's not cheap.
As far as the stored procedures and such, we just did ours manually. There aren't too many syntax changes needed, so it was fairly easy.

Continued issues with SQL2K5 - SP2
I continue to have issues with SP-2 for SQL 2005 suite. It has now gotten so bad, I have multiple installations, including the TOOLS ONLY on my laptop failing, that I am going to stop ALL future installations of SP-2. The COM+ failures have not been resolved that I can determine. I have tried uninstalling, I have tried SP-1 before SP-2, every combination one can find. HELP.

Consolidating Profiler, DTA into Mgmt Studio
Would it be possible to create "light verisons" of these external tools and integrate them into Mgmt Studio as another window in the IDE? Maybe have a "Quick Trace" window etc...
Thanks,
Derek
